About us
We export Japanese matcha and other Japanese food to markets around the world. Working with suppliers across Japan, we handle everything from finding the product to shipping, selling and the export paperwork. We do not simply send goods abroad: we choose what fits each market, settle the terms, and build the supply behind it.
Right now we are building out the sales team that meets buyers abroad and opens new markets. If you want to learn how a deal is really done, across languages and borders, this is a good place to do it.
What you will do
- Sell to buyers outside Japan
- Build and keep relationships with those buyers
- Propose products, agree prices and settle terms
- Handle orders
- Prepare and manage export documents such as invoices and packing lists
- Watch what the market and your customers are asking for
What we ask for
- Business-level English
- Under 30 years old
- Experience at a food maker or a food trading company
- Comfortable running your work in Excel or Google Sheets
- Able to build a proposal deck in PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Experience with a CRM or similar customer tool
Nice to have
- A background in food or in export
- B2B sales experience
- A wish to build your skills inside a startup
- Experience with quotes, price talks, delivery dates and contracts
- A basic grasp of order handling
- The ability to keep people inside and outside the company moving together
