About us
We export Japanese matcha and other Japanese food to markets around the world. Working with suppliers across Japan, we handle everything from finding the product to shipping, selling and the export paperwork. We do not simply send goods abroad: we choose what fits each market, settle the terms, and build the supply behind it.
Right now we are building out the sales team that meets buyers abroad and opens new markets. If you want to learn how a deal is really done, across languages and borders, this is a good place to do it.
What you will do
- Reach out to buyers outside Japan
- Keep in touch with those buyers and build the relationship
- Handle orders
- Prepare and manage export documents such as invoices and packing lists
- Watch what the market and your customers are asking for
What we ask for
- You can hold a conversation in English
- You are a student, undergraduate or postgraduate
- You are interested in sales and can commit to an internship
- You can work in Japanese in a business setting
Nice to have
- You have studied abroad, or grew up between two countries
- You are interested in starting something, or in business across borders
- You think beyond one market
- You want to try sales end to end, from first contact to closing
- Sales experience, or experience dealing with people directly
- Any nationality is welcome

Hours
- From 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, in the office

Our Harajuku office, in Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo.
